Homecoming Week

Homecoming week is held the week before Homecoming. A week to celebrate our students and show some school spirit. There is a theme for the week and more specifically themed days for each school day that week. There are a number of events that are also held that week, such as Chalk the Lot, Macho Volleyball, Powderpuff, Movie Night, Homecoming Parade, the Homecoming Football game, and many more!

Homecoming

Homecoming is our very first dance of the year the Saturday following that year's Homecoming game. It's a time to celebrate our students and give them a fun night to remember full of laughing and dancing!

Senior Sunrise

Senior sunrise is a symbol of the beginning of their very last year. Seniors are invited to watch the sunrise on the football field and enjoy fun games and food with eachother. Senior jeans can also be decorated on the grass outside of the football field to be worn for the rest of their last year.

Socktober

Unopened packages of socks are collected within the student body and donated to the Bob Michel VA Clinic. The winners usually get a pizza party of their choosing. Each year there is also a goal we strive to achieve with how many socks end up being collected.

Fall Blood Drive

Our fall blood drive is a blood drive we host every year in collaboration with the Red Cross. Any students over the age of 16 are allowed to donate with their parents' permission. It's a great way to get out of class for a little while, do a good deed, and get to sit and enjoy some snacks!

The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree is a project we put on in December every year. You can take a scroll off the tree in the front of the building to find the QR code that will take you to a form for you to fill out that will then select a gift for you to buy for someone at the Children's Home.

Winter Formal

All grades are included in the second dance of the school year. It has a theme that varies from year to year. A fun way to make memories with friends during the colder months!

Trivia Night

Each spring we host a trivia night. Students are encouraged to create teams and make a fun theme as well. It is pay-to-play but there are cash prizes for the top 3 groups to split.

Spring Blood Drive

The spring blood drive is the same as the fall blood drive only it takes place in the spring. It is a blood drive done in collaboration with the Red Cross. Students have the opportunity to be excused from a class in order to donate blood. There are also snacks and drinks that people donating are encouraged to take, along with the occasional free t-shirt and $10 gift card.

Charity Volleyball Game

This is a Students vs. Teachers volleyball game! Each year different teachers and students are selected to participate. There is also a different charity selected each year for all of the proceeds to be sent to. Concessions and raffle baskets are also available at this event.

Senior Sunset

Following Senior Sunrise, Senior Sunset is a way for the Seniors to have one last hurrah before graduating in a couple of weeks. There are fun activities on the field for them to participate in as well as watching the sunset with their peers.
